International Research and Training Group IRTG1627

On 27th may, 2010, the Senate for Research Training Groups of the DFG (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft) decided to fund the proposal of Leibniz Universität Hannover for the International Research Training Group on “Virtual Materials and Structures and their Validation”. 

The training group, which is incorporated in the graduate school MUSIC at the Leibniz Universität Hannover, started it’s work in October 2010. In total 12 positions for PhD students have been offered within the project. 9 principal investigators from the Leibniz Universität Hannover are involved as well as 11 scientists from the École Normale Supérieure Cachan, France.
